Sunday mornings are a time for possibility, curiosity, for much-needed rest and recovery. It can be a magical, intimate and creative time. But quiet mornings can also be challenging, as thoughts and obligations rush to fill the empty space. In a world that increasingly takes its toll on the kindest and most sensitive of people, this mix is aimed at reflecting that push and pull between rest and restlessness. I wanted to be sensitive to both sides of the morning experience and to explore kindness and care, some playfulness, and also reflect the natural uneasiness we might feel at the start of the day. If you listen on a Sunday morning, I hope you’ll take time to restore your connection to the beauty, intrigue and inspiring talent that continue to exist for us even in “a time of crisis”. And, I’m very proud and honoured to share music from upcoming Silver Threads releases in this mix.
