Favorite Mixes from September 2026
Have you gotten your pumpkin spice latte yet? We haven’t, and there are no plans for it, either. What we did get throughout September was a steady influx of great music.
As usual, we try to keep things eclectic within our wonderfully deep, leftfield, and ever-evolving corner of electronic music. Menou, Grant Aaron, and Josephine Soundscapes provide the essential introspective listening material, each offering plenty of space to slow things down for a while.
Alex Tirelli, Daniel[i], and Paragon venture into murkier, more immersive territory, each in their own way. Whether through a live set or studio recording, these three explore different sides of deep, dubby, and hypnotic techno.
Polygonia, upsammy, Sybil, and Peter Van Hoesen shift the focus toward groove experimentation. Quirky, stripped-down rhythms, breaks, bass, and halftime all find their place here, making these mixes particularly useful when the day calls for a little more movement.
Foliage is around the corner. Allow yourself a change in rhythm as well.
