Favorite Mixes from March 2026

There’s a point every March when the body forgets what it's used to from winter. Layers come off too early, then go back on. The air feels different hour to hour. You start noticing how much the environment shapes what you reach for, not just outside, but in sound as well.

Camu and Rosillon slow things down to the point where listening becomes almost tactile, where you don’t just hear the mix, you sit inside it. In contrast, livwutang, Priori, and Ulf Eriksson shift the focus outward, bringing a lighter touch without losing depth and letting grooves breathe rather than locking them in place, think dub, eclectic, melodic, and deep. Meanwhile, A Ras, F-on, and Marco Maldarella hover in between, working with tension rather than release, keeping things slightly unresolved in a way that holds attention longer than a straight line ever could. Finally, when it’s time to shake that off, Fhionbarra and Azu Tiwaline both lock into a more physical register, where the body leads, and everything else follows.

So, nothing here tries to define the month. Instead, this collection reflects its shifting nature - unpredictable on paper, yet oddly coherent within.
