PREMIERE: Biocym - Wadis (Arto fractured dub) [Melifera Records]
French imprint Melifera Records is back with their latest offering being a diverse release centered around Biocym and his track, Wadis. The five track EP includes interpretations by Piante Vive, Sauvage Dub Trio, Arto, and Biocym himself with a deep vision rework.
As the name implies, Arto’s remix or ‘Fractured dub’ is exactly that. A well executed halftime chugger that breaks apart the original and reassembles it in a twisted manner that keeps things fresh and gets the head nodding. Ever-shifting drum lines and siren-like melodies keep the atmosphere heavy while maintaining a core groove that is ever so loved here at Delayed.
